The event (hybrid) will cover observations and research analysis on the emerging Hongkonger diaspora in the UK.

&#x27;We are Hongkongers&#x27; is a community-based research project, led by Dr Sui-Ting Kong and funded by the British Academy, that aims to explore how Hongkongers settle in different cities and towns in the UK and the ways by which they rebuild their Hongkonger identities and community, most importantly their homes. Through a social capital questionnaire, in-depth interview and documentary filmmaking, the project also examines how their migration experiences may impact pre-existing and new relationships with local and transnational communities, friends and families and support agencies.
