Experience the wonders of Queenswood Arboretum including Tree ID, Arboriculture and History with Lunch (included)  in the Queenswood Cafe.

Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum

A magical, guided walking experience around the spectacular Queenswood Arboretum with Paul Ratcliffe (Nature Reserves Officer), investigating the trees and the history of 'The Green Heart of Herefordshire'. Explore and examine the SSSI Woodland and the nationally recoginised trees in the collection. You will explore the champion trees and the amazing species held in the collection.<ul><li>We will meet in the Jubilee Building at 10am for Coffee &amp; Biscuits for a brief history of the Arboretum. </li></ul>You will then go out for an amazing guided tour with Paul, talking tree id and exploring the May colours and wildlife. Wonder at the magical Redwood Grove, hear the story of the Herefordshire Diocese Sessile Oaks and and well discover the vast varieties of Acers within the Arb.W﻿e promise you will discover something that you didn't know about Queenswood.To finish (12.30pm), you will settle down for lunch (soup &amp; a sandwich) in the Queenswood Cafe.
