Disability Living Allowance Child Upskilling Session delivered by the Disability Services Advocacy Team

This awareness session provides an in-depth overview of Disability Living Allowance for Children. During the session we cover what Disability Living Allowance for Children is, the eligibility criteria and then the whole customer journey from making a claim to receiving a decision. We will also cover the renewals and dispute process and cover the additional support that is available throughout the customer journey. The last part of the session will comprise of a Q&A session when we can clarify any questions generated throughout the session.When registering for this event: - Please ensure you use your organisation (work) email address. - If you have any accessibility needs please email the team's diary manager at the time of booking DisabilityServices.AdvocacyTeam@dwp.gov.uk - Please note that a calendar invite will be issued to you 5 days prior to the event which will contain the MS Teams joining link needed for you to join on the day. We ask that you put a placeholder in your own calendar/diary until then.On the day: * We ask all attendees to join the session promptly with your microphones on mute. * We are unable to admit any attendees 10 minutes after the session has started to prevent disruption to both the presenters and other attendees. * We will send out a copy of the presentation slides after the event.
