Can I apply at the Apprenticeship Open Evening?

Yes! You can either apply for a live vacancy, or if you're not sure which apprenticeship you want to do yet, we'll have Application Hub set up where you can speak to our Application Team. Our friendly Student Services Team will be also on hand to help with any queries during the application process.

What apprenticeship levels are available?

There are a few types of apprenticeship on offer than can give you a qualification from a Level 2, equivalent to GCSE, all the way up to Level 6, equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.

Higher apprentices can see increased earning of around £150,000 over their lifetime.

I'm a mature student, can I still come?

Absolutely. Apprenticeships are open to anyone over the age of 16 who meets the entry requirements. Entry requirements vary depending on the level of the apprenticeship.

Will I be able to talk to someone about career advice?

Accepted Answer

Gloucestershire College has a dedicated Advice Team who can give you free, impartial and confidential advice on choosing a career path and planning your studies to get there. The team will be available to talk through the full range of options available to you.

I'm thinking about doing a full-time course, should I still come?

Accepted Answer

Definitely. When you're exploring your education options it's important to think about what further qualifications and career paths that can lead onto. We offer apprenticeships up to degree level, so you may still want to consider one for later as it can be a great way to get onto the career ladder.
