A parent and child session for children aged 18m to 8yrs, themed around the Mr Wolf's story.

The Wild Space

Date: Monday 13th February  10.00am - 11.30amLocation: The Wild Space, Graylingwell Park, ChichesterAge range: Parent and child session for children 18m to 8yrs. Children under 18 months are free to attend with a paying sibling. Parents/carers do not require are also free to attend and do not require to book their places.Come and join us celebrating pancake day at Mr Wolf's pancakes parent and child morning. Some of the fun to be had....?<ul><li>Before we can cook our pancakes we will need to make our campfire, learn how to use a flint and steel to create our campfire to cook the pancakes over.</li><li>Mix together the ingredients to make pancakes, to be cooked over the fire, top with honey or jam and enjoy warm around the fire circle...yum yum! There will be pancakes for grown ups too!</li><li>Sawing activity</li><li>Make a Mr Wolf face mask.</li><li>Have a play in the mud kitchen and make your own muddy pancakes!</li><li>Pancake tossing game.</li></ul>T﻿hen... enjoy a hot chocolate whilst listening to Mr Wolf's Pancakes story.What to wear?All participants are advised to wear appropriate outdoor clothes and appropriate footwear for outdoor terrains, warm clothes and wet weather clothes if necessary.What happens if the weather is bad?We will continue the session in most weathers and will put up tarps for shelter if there is risk of rain.Price: Child tickets £14.00 includes all craft items to take home, activities, hot chocolate/squash and pancakes.Children under 18 months attend for free when accompanied by a full paying child.FAQ'sWhat to bring along and wear:<ul><li>A cup for yourself and your child as we will be offering a free self service hot drinks station for adults and hot chocolate or squash/water for children.</li><li>Any snacks for your child that you would like to bring along.</li><li>Weather appropriate clothes and footwear for outdoor environments.</li></ul>Where is The Wild Space? The Wild Space is a designated forest school area within the Graylingwell Park and is managed by the Chichester Community Development Trust. The Wild Space can only be reached by foot and parking is available nearby.Parking: Visitors can park at the Pavilion or around the edge of the park (you will need the Just Park App or can purchase a ticket in the cafe). Alternatively, a really good option is to park at the Rugby Club as it’s just as close to the Wild Space. What are the facilities: There is a hexagonal wooden shelter on site and a portable camping style toilet. The Pavilion cafe is near by and is a lovely place for people to meet before or after the session. There are also plenty of open spaces and seating around the park near the forest school site for people to use after the session ends, which are perfect for picnics in the warmer months.My child has food allergies: There is a section on the order form to complete with any food allergies. If you would like to discuss any food allergies or other requirements further please do get in touch.Cancellation and refund policy: If you are unable to attend due to any reason unfortunately we will not be able to offer a refund. If in the unfortunate event we are unable to run the session we will issue everyone with a full a refund or alternative date. Part refunds cannot be given if you are unable to attend a session for any reason. Places are non-transferable. What happens if the weather is bad? We will continue the session in most weathers and have use of on site permanent forest school shelter. If we need to cancel the session due to weather warnings we will offer everyone a credit note to use at a later session.Your information and how we use it: At time of booking we require some information about you and your child, for example allergies, alternative needs or special requirements, first aid, email and emergency contact phone number. This information is only kept for the duration of the course or event and your contact number will only be used by us in the event of an emergency arising with your child or if we need to contact attendees prior to the event to give extra information. If you consent for us to use your email to contact about future events, this will only be used by Woodland Wonders (we do not pass these details onto any other 3rd party) and will be used only to send details of other events run by Woodland Wonders that we think you may be interested in. If you consent for photos to be used, these will only be used for our Facebook page, website and promotional purposes only and are not passed onto anyone else.
