Quorn Village Hall

Following 2022’s sell-out Shakespeare in Stafford Orchard, the New Quorndon Shakespeare Company are back treading the boards this Spring with a double bill of one-act plays. Loughborough playwright, Norman Hockley, has based Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime on the Oscar Wilde short story. It deals with issues of free will, with comedy amplified by Lady Windermere; one of Wilde’s best-loved characters. The evening’s entertainment will be rounded off with Voices, an original modern romantic comedy also written by Norman Hockley. Voices will feature songs performed by Loughborough’s Male Voice Choir, of which Norman is a member.Ticket price includes light refreshments during the interval.
