Didsbury's rustic and laid back independent cafe.Enjoy a mindful evening, designed to help you slow down, connect with your senses, yourself and others, whilst focusing on the here and now.Come along by yourself and meet new people in the community or bring one of your pals along! The VenueIndependent cafe bar “The Art of Tea” is situated in the heart of Didsbury. A bohemian sanctuary attached to the charming Didsbury Village Bookshop.We’ll be nestled in their newly renovated “Green Tea Room” with endless tea, coffee, tipples and nibbles available to order from their menu all evening. You will also be able to peruse the books in the bookshop for further inspiration. The perfect ambience for a calm and cosy creative social. The SessionIn this two hour session, we will explore the hidden wonders of your inner life and express thoughts, memories and dreams through the art of collage. Designed to free and calm the mind, unlock creativity, and inspire the imagination through self discovery and play, this collage session aims to nurture a sense of wellbeing, creatively exploring aspects of the self that are hidden from your conscious awareness, discovering “a bit of you” in the depths of papery planes, whilst manifesting a vision for future direction as we move through into the new season.Perfectly suitable for beginners, dabblers and seasoned collagists wanting a bit of time to yourself for a mid-week mindful moment.Janie will be on hand to offer gentle guidance and encouragement throughout.
