Nature & Forest Therapy and Nature Journalling Introduction at Clumber Park

Maria is an ANFT Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide and Coach, EcoNidra Teacher, Therapetic writing teacher, story weaving facilitator and Mindfulness/ Compassion Teacher.She is the founder of Mindful Connections where she facilitates both individual, group and private experiences to help increase balance, stillness and much needed rest.She works with public groups, 1:1 individualised coaching & mentoring and private teams to help promote  wellbeing, balance and resilience.After a period of work related burn out in 2001 and 2002, Maria found a path to her own restoration during a solo journey along the West Coast of Ireland.She is dedicated to helping  others find their own balance, stillness and rediscovery through the healing power of Nature and Connection, natural silence and self care practices.

Clumber Park

This introductory session will help you discover the many pleausres of Nature &amp; Forest Therapy, Nature Connection and Nature JournallingThere are many ways to increase our relations with nature and our own true nature, and these two offerings are just a couple of those.Nature and Forest Therapy helps you to slow down whilst awakening your senses. An absolute essential with our fast paced, time bound, demanding lifestyles. It helps us to restore and rebalance. There are many scientific studies that back up the therapeutic mind and body health benefits that it offers.Writing or Journalling has long been used within counselling pracitces as a form or expression and therapy. Nature Journalling helps to further connect with our relationships with Nature and enables us to explore both our inner and outer landscapes utilising our relationship with the natural world as our teacher and mirror.This particular session is an introduction to these practices and will offer some experiential elements as a way of a taster. We will be nestled within a clearing within one of the woodlands at Clumber Park. Instructions of where to meet and what to bring will be sent to you upon booking.£15 per person - normal park entry also appliesA full session of Nature &amp; Forest Therapy lasts around 3 hours and Nature Journalling approx 2 hours - both of these can be experienced in full at Clumber Park during the year.

Your guide, Maria is a certified ANFT Nature &amp; Forest Therapy Guide and Coach, a therapeutic writing instructor, Nature Connection and retreat facilitator, An EcoNIDRA Teacher and Mindfulness and Compassion Teacher amongst many other therapies.She is passionate at helping people to reduce and manage stress levels, improve wellbeing and restore our health through bringing people back to Nature, Connection, stillness and self care practices.
