<h3>Power and Diversity In Supervision</h3><h3>Aspects of Supervision Workshop 3</h3><p>Supervision, the process, the relationship, can create the conditions for ethical dilemmas related to the power held by the supervisor. </p><p>We are interested in how we move from supervisor as ‘expert’ with power over, to a more pluralistic position of supervisor who has power with and is an engager in a collaborative relationship where meaning is co-created and difference is valued   </p><h3>W﻿ho is this course for?</h3><p>This is for practitioners who are established on their journey as a mental health or helping professional. You will have had experience of supervision and will be interested in stepping into a supervisory role.</p><h3>A﻿spects of Supervision Workshop Series</h3><p>This﻿ series of five 2 hour workshops will take you on a deep dive into key aspects of supervision, covering identity, creativity, power, use of self and integration. You will take part in experiential learning, grounded in theory , as well as small and large group discussions. The series includes: </p><ol><li>My Identity as a Supervisor </li><li>Creativity in Supervision</li><li>Power and Diversity in Supervision</li><li>Working at the Teach Treat Boundary in Supervision</li><li>Integration in supervision: Views from the Helicopter</li></ol><h3><strong>A﻿bout the trainers</strong></h3><p>B﻿ev Gibbons is a TSTA (Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst) in the field of psychotherapy. She has an MA In TA psychotherapy and BA Hons in integrative counselling. She is based in North Yorkshire, in the UK, as a trainer, supervisor and psychotherapist in private practice, and as a core trainer at TA Training Organisation based in Leeds, UK. </p><p>Ronen Stilman  TSTA has a psychotherapy and supervision private practice in Edinburgh. In addition he is a core tutor at Physis Scotland.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
