The Festival of Early Stage Researchers 2023

The Festival of Early Stage Researchers (FESR) is our way to say thank you to the largest community of researchers in the UK. It is an annual week-long festival, recognising and celebrating the invaluable contribution from UCL’s early-stage community.

Audience: Doctoral Researchers onlyTo provide a variety of opportunities to bring researchers together in person, we are holding the FESR Fair throughout Tuesday 28 March in the Jeremy Bentham Room. Please see the festival programme for a full list of events.To kick of the FESR Fair, representatives from the Student Funding Team within Student and Registry Services will provide information on the sources of funding available to support Post Graduate Researchers. We will also be joined by researcher colleagues who will to share their funding experiences.Speakers: Lakkaya Palmer (ROS Scholar) and Nadiia Dobrianska (GRS Scholar)We encourage you to attend in person if you can*. If you are unable to attend in person, the event will be held in a hybrid format with live captions provided by 121 Captions.*If you do feel unwell, even if it’s ‘just’ a cold or sore throat, we recommend you stay at home if you can, to avoid passing on infection to others in the community.
