The Festival of Early Stage Researchers 2023

The Festival of Early Stage Researchers (FESR) is our way to say thank you to the largest community of researchers in the UK. It is an annual week-long festival, recognising and celebrating the invaluable contribution from UCL’s early-stage community.

To provide a variety of opportunities to bring researchers together in person, we are holding the FESR Fair throughout Tuesday 28 March in the Jeremy Bentham Room. Please see the festival programme for a full list of events.Come and be inspired by early stage researcher colleagues as they provide a snapshot of how their research has been used by industry partners, policy makers or local/international communities.Then take part in a speed networking activity where you will join a series of multi-disciplinary groups to discuss how your collective expertise and experiences could be combined to respond to key challenges facing the globe.Continue conversations with your new contacts at the FESR Fair Social following the event (please book your ticket for the FESR Fair Social separately).This event will be held in person*.*If you feel unwell on day, even if it’s ‘just’ a cold or sore throat, we recommend you stay at home if you can, to avoid passing on infection to others in the community.
