Ever wondered how to actually get your work published? We’re bringing together three leaders from the small press publishing industry for an insightful panel to demystify and discuss the process.We’ve also listened to your feedback on previous webinars, and have introduced a new practical workshop element. Editor and publicist Isabelle Kenyon (Fly on the Wall Press) will take the themes discussed and translate them into useful exercises for you to apply to your own professional practice.A﻿bout our panelists:Luke Thompson is a writer, editor and co-founder of Guillemot Press. His books include Treasures of Cornwall (Macmillan, 2023), A Guillemot Guide to Small Press Publishing (2022) and the poetry collection Singing About Melon (Shearsman, 2020). Guillemot titles have won multiple Michael Marks Awards for illustration, poetry and publishing, as well as a D&amp;AD prize, and in 2022 two Guillemot poets won the Rebecca Swift Women Poets&#x27; Prize.Amy Acre is a poet and freelance writer from London, and the editor of Bad Betty Press. Her pamphlets And They Are Covered in Gold Light (Bad Betty, 2019) and Where We’re Going, We Don’t Need Roads (flipped eye, 2015) were each chosen as a Poetry Book Society Pamphlet Choice. Bad Betty books include a Michael Marks winner, a Telegraph Poetry Book of the Month, five Poetry Book Society Pamphlet Choices, several Poetry School Books of the Year, Polari and Laurel Prize longlistees and BAMB Readers Award shortlistees. They’ve been shortlisted for the Michael Marks Publishers Award four out of the five years they’ve existed, named The Book Hive’s Indie Publisher of the Month, and described by The Big Issue as ‘the epitome of bold independence’.Isabelle Kenyon is a northern writer and the author of chapbooks: This is not a Spectacle, Digging Holes To Another Continent (Clare Songbirds Publishing House, New York, 2018), Potential (Ghost City Press, 2019), Growing Pains (Indigo Dreams Publishing Ltd, 2020) and one short story with Wild Pressed Books (Short Story &#x27;The Town Talks&#x27;, 2020).
