'Men Are Singing' with The Old Ship

Since being purchased in 2018 by The Peninsula Trust (supported by a community of over 300 investors), The Old Ship Inn has been transformed into a space enjoyed by all. We have a programme of events and activities with profits going towards developing current usage and our goal of transforming it into a permanent structure with community space and affordable housing for the local community.

The Old Ship is hosting 'Men are Sining', the alternative, community, male voice choir run by Seamus Carey (from 'The Reason Why' Podcast).

<p>The Old Ship is hosting &#x27;Men are Singing&#x27;, the alternative, community, male voice choir run by Seamas Carey (creator of &#x27;The Reason Why&#x27; Podcast). After performing his hit show &#x27;Help! I think I&#x27;m a Nationalist&#x27; in collaboration with The Old Ship last year, Seamas is back with his Cornish choir. The choir is an &#x27;all-inclusive, cross-generational male voice choir&#x27;, they sing a range of different songs, some in Cornish, arraged and conducted by Seamas Carey. Although hosted by us, the choir performace will take place at Maker with Rame Community Hall (just up the road from The Old Ship) to allow for more people to attend. Following the performance you are invited to head down to The Old Ship where the bar will be open, with local beers, ciders and more, ad there may even be a few more songs, if we are lucky...</p><p>`This event is pay-as-you-feel, please pay what you can afford. Ticket options range from £5-£10 and all proceeds go to The Old Ship project with the Peninsula Trust. </p>
