Mark Bignell gives an overview of the thinking around the issue and current provision and support within the city

M﻿ark relishes the opportunity of talking with churches to help them understand life with addiction and share helpful ways of showing compassion to people and their friends and families. He will inform us of the work of <a href="https://hamoazehouse.online/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Hamoaze House</a> and give details of other agencies and how to signpost people.

Mark Bignell MBEMark was born and raised in Plymouth and now resides in Cornwall.He has worked in the field of problematic substance use for 33 years in both residential and day support services, taking a small break to join the Devon and Cornwall Police before joining Hamoaze House in May 2001 to work alongside the original founder Roma French. Upon Roma’s retirement Mark became the Chief Executive of Hamoaze House.The ethos of Hamoaze is: “We don’t do perfect” And “Everyone matters”
