Woodland Wonders forest school provide forest school programmes for schools and communities, holiday activities, birthday parties and parent and child groups in the Chichester, West Sussex area."Leave only footprints and take only memories"We have a passion, deep respect and life long love of the outdoors and the natural world around us and through our work at Woodland Wonders we aim to teach and nurture children and all those that use our forest school our ethos and their own deep and lifelong love of the outdoors and the natural world.Our forest school experiences aim to provide the stepping stones for children to release their potential and learn in a holistic and nurturing environment. Giving embedded learning opportunities through play in a beautiful woodland environment.

Beat the Boredom - Forest school for adventurous kids!Engaging young minds in a fun and enriching way through a variety of different wild learning activities at each session. We are really pleased to be running these sessions at our new site, The Wild Space within Graylingwell Park, Chichester, and also to be able to offer some free places for free school meal children with funding from WSCC HAF grant. A﻿ll children will receive a freshly cooked hot lunch, snacks and drink.What we will be doing:<ul><li>Fun and engaging age appropriate activities</li><li>Be involved in lunch preparation</li><li>Learn about healthy food and healthy eating</li><li>Different ways of fire lighting</li><li>Wild science and problem solving challenges</li><li>Green woodworking activities</li><li>Team games</li><li>Cook your own snacks over the campfire</li><li>Story telling</li><li>Tracking and trailing</li><li>Discovery, Exploring and playing</li><li>Wild art and natural crafts</li><li>Be active and learn new skills</li><li>Things to make to take home</li><li>And anything else we can think of!!!</li></ul>Location: The Wild Space, Graylingwell Park, ChichesterPrice:Paid Places: £28.00 per session, includes all activities, crafts, snacks, lunch and drink. It can be found on your free school meals eligibility letter. You may also be able to retrieve this information from your school or by using the contact details on your letter.Can I book onto more than one session: Yes, you can book as many sessions as you like.What to bring and wear:<ul><li>A refillable water bottle</li><li>Appropriate outdoor clothes and footwear for the weather, conditions and seasons.</li></ul>Our bad weather contingency plan: We will continue the session outside in most weathers and will put up temporary shelters when needed. We have the use of a covered area within the forest school area.My child has a SEND need: We would be grateful if you can let us know any information that you feel necessary. This is so that we can support your child and offer them the most positive and enjoyable experience at the sessions. Paid for places will be offered a choice of a refund or credit note.Funded places: If your child is unable to attend or you need to cancel their place, please let us know asap so we can offer your place to another child.Paid for places: Unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund or transfer their places if your child is unable to attend.How is my information used? On the booking form you will need to agree for your details and all those who you have booked a free place for to be shared with WSCC Activities fund. They will only use this to record the success of the scheme and for their impact survey/funding data collection/success. Please note that WSCC will also use your data to check your eligibility to their funding criteria.GDPR policy: At time of booking we require some information about you and your child, for example allergies, alternative needs or special requirements, first aid, email and emergency contact phone number. This information is only kept for the duration of the course or event and your contact number will only be used by us in the event of an emergency arising with your child or if we need to contact attendees prior to the event to give extra information. If you consent for us to use your email to contact about future events, this will only be used by Woodland Wonders (we do not pass these details onto any other 3rd party) and will be used only to send details of other events run by Woodland Wonders that we think you may be interested in. If you consent for photos to be used, these will only be used for our Facebook page, website and promotional purposes only and are not passed onto anyone else.
