Do you want to see sustainability more widely taught at Sussex? The University of Sussex was recently ranked joint 1st in the UK by the <a href="https://peopleandplanet.org/university-league" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">People and Planet League</a> for our commitment to Education for Sustainable Development. However, we want to go much further in order to achieve our <a href="https://www.sussex.ac.uk/about/sustainable-university/policy-and-strategy/strategy/ethical-educators/sustainability-in-all-degrees" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sustainable Sussex Strategy</a> commitment to teach sustainability within all degrees. 12.30-1.30pm - Find out more about the <a href="https://www.sussex.ac.uk/about/sustainable-university/get-involved/learn/sustainable-curriculum-teach" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SDG Teach In</a> (Staff only)We will be providing information and resources, and answering questions, about the SDG Teach In, a campaign to encourage all educators to build the <a href="https://sdgs.un.org/goals" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sustainable Development Goals</a> into their teaching, learning and assessment during March 2023. <a href="https://www.sussex.ac.uk/about/sustainable-university/get-involved/learn/sustainable-curriculum-teach" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a><a href="https://www.sussex.ac.uk/about/sustainable-university/get-involved/learn/sustainable-curriculum-teach" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">You can pledge to join the campaign now </a>or at the event!We will share case studies and help you to brainstorm how you could embed the SDGs in your teaching this month. PLEASE NOTE: The workshop section of this event has now been postponed due to staff sickness. We will still be delivering a shorter session about the <a href="https://www.sussex.ac.uk/about/sustainable-university/get-involved/learn/sustainable-curriculum-teach" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SDG Teach In</a>, at an updated time of 12.30-1.30pm, over vegan croissants, tea and coffee.
