One Garden Brighton

Magnums are delightful gifts to receive for any occasion! They instantly convey a sense of generosity and celebration, but did you know that winemakers favour this format for many other reasons? Join us for a technical tasting event with the assistant winemaker at Rathfinny Winery, Roger Bacon, to learn how magnums influence wine flavor, structure, and the aging process. Roger has hand selected different vintages of Rathfinny’s outstanding sparkling wine and we will be tasting them in different bottle formats to compare the wines within. Roger will lead us through a comparison of bottle aging in both the standard size (75cl) and magnum size (150cl). The difference will astonish you and give valuable information for those who enjoy cellaring different wines. This is a beginner friendly event, but we will be focusing on some more advanced aspects of tasting and wine production, so bring all of your questions about the sparkling winemaking process. This is a very unique event and a chance to taste with an expert in the English wine industry. We are offering a free minibus service running to and from Falmer station! You&#x27;ll be able to book this when buying a ticket or two!⁠Delicious nibbles will be included in your ticket.
