Bell House is a volunteer led charity that provides creative learning for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our vision is to offer an opportunity to gather for learning, enjoyment and friendship in a special place.

In this talk, Daniel Greenwood covers some of the more accessible and interesting landscapes and varied species found in London.

London’s wildlife is far richer than most of us think.

From ancient woodlands, chalk grasslands, to rivers and wetlands, there are many places, species and habitats to explore. Daniel discusses the reasons why they are found in the city and the ways in which people have shaped these landscapes over the centuries.

A﻿bout the speakerDaniel Greenwood is an environmental professional, born and raised in south-east London. Daniel has worked for London Wildlife Trust at Sydenham Hill Wood and on recent woodland projects, as well as for the South Downs National Park in volunteering development. He also leads landscape-focused guided walks and talks in London, Sussex and Hampshire. Daniel is a freelance writer and photographer with contributions published in London Wildlife Trust’s recent book, London in the Wild. https://danieljamesgreenwood.com/
