A morning series of  art therapy and mindfulness workshops. Beginners welcome, all art materials provided. Online, Via zoom.

Each session includes guided art making and mindfulness meditations, and has a specific focus (see below). You can attend each individually or attend all four as a series.Online: Series of Art Therapy and Mindfulness Workshops 12 - 3 pm (3 hours):<ul><li>Workshop One: Opening to Joy and Expression - Friday 28th April</li><li>Workshop Two: Inviting Compassion - Friday 9th June</li><li>Workshop Three: Exploring Resilience and Creativity - Friday 14th July</li><li>Workshop Four: Active Hope - Friday 15th September</li></ul>This workshop series is available to attend either in person or online via Zoom (on different dates).-﻿-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Workshop One: Opening to Joy and Expression How can we open to joy and creative expression? This is a creative and explorative workshop integrating therapeutic art making with guided mindfulness meditation, open to all levels of experience.This session will develop your understanding of mindfulness, gratitude and appreciation practices. . During the time of environmental and economic challenges (amongst other individual and collective challenges) the practices of mindfulness and opening to joy have the potential to support our own personal wellbeing, and ways in which you can meet others facing their own challenges. From the basis of our own resourcing and resilience we may find new ways to be able to meet and respond to the collective challenges we are experiencing.Aims:	Deepen your understanding of mindfulness, gratitude and appreciation practices 	Understand some of the potential barriers to these practices	Find ways to resource and nourish yourself in challenging timesAll levels of experience with mindfulness and/or art making are welcome to attend!P﻿lesae bring some basic art materials - more information will be provided.Facilitator/s:Nicky Roland, is an experienced HCPC registered Art Therapist, a trained mindfulness teacher, and a Work That Reconnects facilitator with several years work experience in the NHS, voluntary sector and in private practice.Fees: £45Low cost places are available for people who may be experiencing financial constraints at this time (low or no income).
