Norfolk Record Office

A creative writing workshop focusing on the life of a Tudor person.

As part of the Putting on Progress project we are running a creative writing workshop focusing on the life of a Tudor person. Find out what it was like to entertain during the second half of the 1500s, learn how the wealthy liked to dress, and find out what the city was like at the time of Queen Elizabeth I's visit. Pick your character, use the documents to inspire your setting and have a go at your own piece of work. No experience is required, and there is no obligation to share your work- this is purely for your own enjoyment!Find our Spring 2023 programme of events here.If you are no longer able to attend, please let us know so that we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list.
