Norfolk Record Office (NRO) collects and preserves unique archives relating to the history of Norfolk and makes them accessible to people all over the world.The events listed here are run from our base at The Archive Centre, Martineau Lane, Norwich.   Free parking is available at County Hall for Archive Centre users. The Forum

<h1>Free of charge</h1>A celebration of all things archival.  Stands from groups gathering the records of their own communities will show the important work they do to in collecting Norfolk’s history. They will be joined by the Norfolk Record Office who have been working with community groups to help them collect and preserve the fragile heritage so important to our understanding of the past. The day will also feature a display by NorAH, the Norfolk Archives and Heritage Development Foundation, who are sponsoring the event.  For the past 7 years NorAH have been raising funds and providing grants to help with the preservation and purchase of archives, and opening them up to the public through digitization, education and wellbeing work.
