Come watch Paris is Burning (1990), Jennie Livingston&#x27;s ground-breaking queer documentary. The film explores the ball room scene of 1980’s New York and issues of racism, class, homophobia, transphobia and the impact of AIDS on these African-American and Latino communities. Stay for the discussion with the iconic Mystika Glamoor, socialist socialite of Edinburgh drag, hostess of Glamoork and co-owner of Kafe Kweer. Drag was and is a vibrant part of queer culture, let’s come together for this screening and following discussion about this iconic film and current attacks on drag and trans communities.
