We’ve been working with the best local, regional and national artists to ensure our programme really engages, enthuses, entertains and educates the 100,000 people living in our wards.

Ceramics with MeganThursdays 9 &amp; 16 March, 10-12noonAlbany Village Centre, Washington, NE37 1UBJoin The Cultural Spring and artist Megan and create your own ceramic house.Make and decorate clay houses, build a miniature version of your ideal home, create a street out of porcelain. Use a variety of tools to create relief tiles of houses, use natural materials to create textures, learn how to join clay pieces and enjoy a mindful session working with clay. Work will be taken away and fired and returned to you. Suitable for beginners and all materials provided.Due to the funding we receive, these workshops are for people living in Sunderland only.These workshops are offered by The Cultural Spring and funded by Sunderland City Council, Warm Spaces, CLLD and ESIF with further subsidy from Arts Council England.If you have any questions, please contact info@theculturalspring.org.uk
