The Variables Present: Upturned Universe Panel Show

Michael Conterio

Join the Variables online for their latest science comedy experiment - a 45-minute panel show mixing improv comedy with scripted stand-up.

Get ready for the Variables to use science as a launch pad to have some fun, and explore the weird and wonderful. What if the Mayans invented zero to dodge a restaurant bill? Are the tides caused by the Moon, or a horde of trained dolphins? Can our panellists deliver a successful presentation using slides they’ve never seen before? Let's enjoy finding out together!Plus, take the chance to throw your own variables into the hat - during the show we'll ask for questions and ideas from the audience, which you can provide using the live chat. This show format is still a work in progress, so there may be a few hitches, technical or otherwise, but all of our performers will be doing their best to bring their A-game to ensure that hilarity makes it way through the internet to you!All of the proceeds from this show will be donated to the Trussell TrustThe link to the livestream will be emailed to you just before the show.Image created by Scary Boots based on an image from Cambridge LifeLab.
