<p>Join the Ri’s demo team to discover the history of electricity and witness some of the earliest historical demonstrations of how electricity could be used and harnessed, developed by one of the Royal Institution’s most famous scientists Michael Faraday. This workshop will include live demonstrations, as well as the chance for students to explore hands-on some of the exciting world of electricity and power.</p><h3>Please note:</h3><p>Please note, this workshop is strictly for 9–11 year-olds. There will be a short break during the workshop and a drink and a small snack will be provided. Students should bring their own snack if they have any allergies</p><p>This workshop is based on our ExperRimental video series, a series of short films that make it fun, easy and cheap to do science at home. Our films give you lots of ideas for kids’ activities that will help you explore the world around you, question and experiment together.</p><p>Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least two weeks (14 calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.</p><h3></h3>
