Explore the amazing science of plastic and make your own creative artworks and sculptures.

Join Dan to explore the fantastic world of plastics. We find plastics all around us, they can be really useful, but also cause us problems, so we'll be exploring what makes them so useful, and think about how we can reduce, reuse, and recycle our plastics. As well as exploring how both natural and synthetic plastics are made, you'll get a chance to recycle some plastics into an artwork, and maybe even make your own plastic from some surprising sources. Please bring your own plastic shopping bags to recycling into your artwork. This workshop is strictly for ages 7–8 only. Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least two weeks (14 calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.
