Climate Psychology Alliance: facing difficult truths about climate change and ecological crisis. A group for anyone interested in making connections between depth psychology and climate change. People engaged in therapeutically informed work form the bulk of our membership, but we welcome anyone who finds this perspective useful.

An informal evening  to celebrate the launch of 'Living with the Climate Crisis' and find out more about it

<h2>Mon 17th April 7 - 8.30pm UK time online</h2><p>The Climate Psychology Alliance is pleased to launch the ‘Living with the Climate Crisis’ project website and materials. </p><p>Join us to celebrate the project launch, hear about the pilot groups, find out about facilitation and put questions to the authors.</p><p>Based on the award-winning Carbon Conversations Project, Living with the Climate Crisis provides materials for psychologically based groups to help people respond creatively and collectively to the climate and ecological crisis.  </p><p>The guides are freely available to be accessed or downloaded from the website https:/livingwiththeclimatecrisis.org</p><h3>About the Authors</h3><p><strong>Rosemary Randall</strong> is a psychotherapist with a long history of involvement in the climate movement. She has written and published widely on the psychology of climate change. She is co-founder of the Carbon Conversations project, a founder member of the Climate Psychology Alliance and is currently active with Cambridge Climate Therapists. https://rorandall.org</p><p><strong>Dr Rebecca Nestor</strong> is an organisational consultant, coach and professional facilitator whose focus is supporting those facing the climate crisis. Rebecca is currently a board member of the Climate Psychology Alliance and chair of Low Carbon Oxford North. https://rebeccanestor.co.uk</p><p><strong>Dr Daniela Fernandez-Catherall</strong> is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist (British Psychological Society) with interests in narrative therapy and community psychology. She is currently working with Cambridge Climate Therapists on the development of community practices to support people experiencing difficulties related to the climate crisis. https://ourstoriespsychology.com</p><p><strong>Andy Brown</strong> (co-author of the Living lightly guide) is an engineer with a background in the social sciences. Before retirement he worked in research for the built environment. He is a co-founder of the Carbon Conversations project and has been a life-long supporter of environmental causes.</p><h3>How to book</h3><p>Tickets are free.
