Black Women Resting Into 2023 Online Retreat

Welcome to Mindwalk Yoga - we are an online well-being studio and social enterprise centring Black women and gender expansive people. We are founded and run by Black and Black-mixed heritage women and people.  While we centre our minds and bodies in our online studio we welcome everyone to join us.Our online studio offers Livestream and On-Demand classes including Yoga Therapy for Anxiety, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Chair Yoga and Healing Sound Baths.Our intention for the online studio is to be accessible, inclusive and affordable. We have a five-option membership model starting from £10/month and we offer free bursary memberships (by application) to ensure everyone can access our well-being services.

In this special retreat, you’ll be introduced to a selection of restful practices to help you unwind, let go and be held in a nourishing space.*﻿If you are a Mindwalk Yoga member, this retreat is part of your £14.99 monthly membership. Please book in the usual way. Nicole will share a nourishing Yin Yoga practice to ease you into a restful state. Karen will seal the retreat with a meditative Yoga Nidra, sometimes called a guided yogic sleep. Karen is a poet and will share poetry she specifically writes for the retreat.You don’t need any yoga experience to join this retreat. Newbies and seasoned yogis are all welcome. We invite you to make a home sanctuary and give yourself space to explore your unique version of rest. T﻿his online retreat is open to Black and Black-mixed heritage women and non-binary people only.This event forms part of the Mindwalk Yoga monthly membership, which is £14.99. You can purchase a ticket as a non-member at a pricing tier that is financially available to you. Learn more about the teachersKaren specialises in Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and accessible Chair Yoga. Karen encourages using support and props to make yoga postures accessible to everyone. Karen&#x27;s unique teaching style incorporates poetry she writes specifically for classes. Coco is a Movement Artist and Wellbeing Facilitator. Her teaching draws on her career as a dancer and choreographer with a spiritual and anatomic alignment-focused style of practice. Coco’s classes are playful, creative and accessible. They embody breathwork and a deep awareness of the body.Nicole is a Yoga teacher, Reformer Pilates teacher, Sound Therapist &amp; Thai Masseuse. Nicole qualified as a Yoga teacher in 2015 in India, and she shares a thoughtful Vinyasa Flow practice that invites practitioners to explore their body&#x27;s flexibility.
