Do you want to actively create a more sustainable campus and/or local community? Join the University Sustainability Manager for an in-person workshop to learn more about the new community based volunteering opportunities that are going to be available to you shortly, with a range of charities who support social, economic and environmental sustainability. These include the Sussex Wildlife Trust and Mind.At the event we will also be asking for your ideas and thoughts on how we can create a sector leading sustainability champion scheme here at Sussex that will support you to work with fellow staff and/or students to bring about small but significant changes in the way we operate our campus in key areas such as waste, energy, water, travel and biodiversity. The event will also be an opportunity to network with like-minded individuals over free plant-based refreshments.We would love you to come to the in person event but if this is not possible we are also hosting <a href="https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/591302280037" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">an online event on 28 March</a>.
