Let your children unleash their imagination this Halloween at ‘Spellbound Academy, our immersive potion making workshop.  Our Professors of the Dark Arts and Herbology will help the apprentices follow ancient spells and solve clues to unlock the secrets of potion making. Although not everything in potion making is easy to collect, student will need to be brave while's collecting fluid and eggs from some of our weird and wonderful magical creatures. Only the most patient and skilled witches and wizards will succeed in graduating from this spell class and will be rewarded with a photograph in our Hall of Fame.  All this is set in the mystical old library in Nurstead Court, Meopham, Kent.Each session lasts for one and a half hours and includes:<ul><li>Potion making equipment ( Although Fantasy FX Parties does run a potion 'bottling' event, at this event the children work on an antidote potion in cauldrons. The potions do not go home in a bottle. Feel free to decorate and bring your own potion bottle, if you feel that your child would like to take something home)</li><li>Cryptic clues</li><li>* Fantasy photo with costumes, props and atmospheric background (digital copy) * This is a photo taken with a phone, with additional editing to add a touch of magic. This is not a professional photography session, simply a memory of the day. Photos will be sent to you in the next few days after the event.</li></ul>This is suitable for children ages 7-13.  Please note that younger children may require adult assistance for some of the activities and clues.Cost - £23 per child( including ticket fees).  Tickets must be purchased in advance on Eventbrite. Due to limited space, only one adult per child, please.  Dates - 30th of October. 10.30-12.00 and 1:00-2:30Venue - Nurstead Court library. Park in the car park past the house, then enter through the main front door.Feel free to wear a sorcerer’s costume and cloak, or your wizard’s uniform.COVID RESTRICTIONS: Although all activities are inside at this event, due to Covid restriction the venue will ask adults mainly to remain watching from the outside area ( patio doors will be open and all children visible) or the adjoining room, if available. Adults can come and assist the children and spend time in the room ,however please be mindful of rotation and allowing other adults to participate, whilst keeping numbers low.
