Spit it Out are bringing together an incredible programme of Workshops, Talks, Exhibitions, Screenings and Live Performances focusing on how we discuss and create around the topics of consent, identity, mental health and transformative justice.

Hen Hoose is a songwriting collective and music production house based in Glasgow. It unites a rich and diverse array of wonderfully talented and award-winning female and non-binary artists, writers and producers collaborating on the creation of exciting new music across multiple genres. Elisabeth Elektra and Djana Gabrielle (Hen Hoose) will discuss the key to collaborative songwriting and how to get the most out of your songwriting process and working relationships. There will be a short talk on techniques before the team set a brief for you and your group, this is a speed writing challenge! You will have a short time to work on your song together and present it back to the room for feedback. If you play an acoustic instrument, then we encourage you to bring it along and work it into your song!Djana Gabrielle is a French-Cameroonian singer-songwriter known for their folk-pop indies-blues. Earning a &quot;New &amp; Notable&quot; feature on the American music platform Noisetrade in 2018, she now focuses her work on songwriting and theatre projects, playing shows and gearing up for her next release, hoping to introduce her soulful, soothing and melodious sound to new audiences in Scotland and beyond.Elisabeth Elektra (they/she) is a Glasgow-based nonbinary pop polymath who delivers deeply melodic, poignant art-pop anthems. Elektra exists in the realm of post-genre, finding empowerment in the vulnerability of her lyrics and the fluency of her production. Their debut ‘Mercurial’ - a timeless and inventive exploration of love and grief - received widespread critical acclaim across the UK music press. As well as being a member of Hen Hoose, Elektra has previously collaborated with Blanck Mass, John Fryer (This Mortal Coil), Du Blonde, and Andrew Liles (Nurse With Wound, Current 93) amongst many others.
