Spit it Out are bringing together an incredible programme of Workshops, Talks, Exhibitions, Screenings and Live Performances focusing on how we discuss and create around the topics of consent, identity, mental health and transformative justice.

Join Filmmaker Lea Luiz de Oliveira and performer Callie Rose Petal (Lonely Carp) for an intimate screening of What It Means To Be, followed by a Q&amp;A discussion on queerness and ethics in documentary filmmaking hosted by Kima Zake. What It Means To BeCallie Rose Petal is a multidisciplinary artist-activist who uses her position in STEM to fight for trans* rights and representation. As the world’s doors close due to the pandemic and her health declines, her heart opens to the truth of her womanhood. She embarks on a journey of self-acceptance and turns to art-as-activism to inspire others.
