Spit it Out are bringing together an incredible programme of Workshops, Talks, Exhibitions, Screenings and Live Performances focusing on how we discuss and create around the topics of consent, identity, mental health and transformative justice.

Spit it Out are delighted to team up with Skateboobs for a second year in a row and bring a creative day of skateboarding and art making to the festival (two in fact!). Come along to this art and skate workshop with a life drawing session followed by an introduction to skateboarding. The day will be led by Meg (Skateboobs), who will be there to boost your confidence on and off the board. All abilities welcome! W﻿e believe skateboarding and creativity go hand in hand. Through getting together to skate and create we can open us a dialogue around taboo subjects, and create a safer and more welcoming environment for everyone within the community. Skateboobs are a collective of Women, Queers, and Non-Binary folk who want to see more equal representation in the skateboarding community. They are dedicated to making it a welcoming space for people of all abilities, identities and ages. They wish to grow big enough to create all-inclusive events around the UK, to get more young women skateboarding, and to make the community safer and more open to females, LGBTQIA+ Folk, and open the conversation around mental health and well-being within the skateboarding scene.
