Spit it Out are bringing together an incredible programme of Workshops, Talks, Exhibitions, Screenings and Live Performances focusing on how we discuss and create around the topics of consent, identity, mental health and transformative justice.

Regina Mosch is an artistic researcher and filmmaker investigating the (in)visibilities of trauma. Microaggressions are often described as fleeting, subtle and invisible moments of bias against marginalised identities. While the harm they inflict is enormous, it is a form of trauma that is largely invisible and overlooked in our society.In this creative workshop, we will use photography to capture what it feels like to be exposed to microaggression against our queer and other intersecting identities. We will try and make something visible that is otherwise maybe difficult to trace and articulate. You will learn about photography techniques and produce your own work in a community space. Our creative work will be interwoven with conversations about our experiences.We will use our phone cameras, so bring yours along if you are able to.Important to know: — This is a creative workshop and not a therapy session— Sharing vulnerable experiences might make you uncomfortable, distressed or overwhelmed. We will have a quiet zone where anyone is welcome to retreat and take a breather by themselves or with a mental health trained person— You can leave the workshop at any point with no questions asked15+ | Content: gender-based traumaWheelchair accessible | Quiet room available Pay As You Can Spaces are limited so please only book a ticket if you can make it.
