We are very excited to invite you to Diversion and prevention: how to end the cycle of crisis and crime - a Revolving Door event, led by lived-experience.Revolving Doors events are an opportunity for professionals and people with lived experience of the cycle of crisis and crime to develop and test ideas for change, led by the people who know best – our members with lived experience. This event will centre the theme of diversion and prevention and explore solutions outside of the criminal justice system to address the root causes of low-level crime. You will hear directly from our members with lived experience, practitioners and policy-makers working on diversion in the North of England and have the chance to co-produce solutions, led by those who know best – our lived experience members. The day will include:<ul><li>A presentation from people with lived experience on their priorities for prevention and diversion away from the criminal justice system, followed by a Q and A</li><li>A presentation from members on women in the criminal justice system </li><li>Co-production sessions with policy-makers and practitioners working to break the cycle of crisis and crime and people with lived experience. </li></ul>This event will be of interest to anyone working in the fields of criminal justice or multiple disadvantage, including central or local government, third sector support services, statutory services, and those who have lived experience of these issues.
