Students will explore pH, neutralisation, solubility and changes of state, and make their own bathbombs and lipbalm to take home.

Students will explore the difference between acids and alkalis and how they react to form a salt. Using this knowledge they then make their own personalised bath bombs.The workshop also allows students to discover the properties of oils and waxes and how they are able to dissolve into one another, which they use to create their own lip balms.This workshop is a great introduction to pH, neutralisation, solubility and changes.This workshop is strictly for 7–8 year-olds and will include a 30 minute supervised lunch break. Students should bring lunch and a drink.Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least two weeks (14 calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.
