Learn to make music the BBC Micro:bit in this computer science workshop for 12–14 year olds.

This workshop will introduce students to the BBC Mirco:bit and how it can be used it to create music. They will be introduced to how, with the addition of input and output devices, the micro:bit can be programmed as a simple instrument, using both the Block Editor and the Python programming language. No prior experience of music programming is required.This workshop is strictly for 12–14 year-olds and will include a 30 minute lunch break. Students should bring lunch and a drink.Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least two weeks (14 calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.
