A﻿bout us, by us...Understanding our communities and tailoring involvement and engagement (PPI/E)Let’s create a dialogue between patients/public, healthcare professionals and academics.This event will foster sharing and learning needed to guide and support all participants (patients, members of the public and healthcare professionals and academics). Hear from patients and members of the public from diverse communities themselves as well as healthcare professionals and academics. Join us for informative talks and lively discussions in a safe space.A guaranteed learning experience for all!Healthcare professionals &amp; Academics Aims of the event; •	Raise awareness of the barriers engaging with diverse communities •	Identifying practical actions for change •	Provide practical solutions to engaging with diverse communitiesPatients and the public from diverse communities Aims of the event; •	Increase the confidence of people from diverse communities in engaging with research •	Encourage and empower participants to take part in research/clinical trials
