It became known as the ‘£45/$70 zombie film’ and received a wealth of critical acclaim after screening at the Cannes Film Festival, Raindance, Frightfest and Sitges. Martin Scorsese called it “Savage, with an energy that takes the zombie idea to another level”. It won numerous awards around the globe, including Best Feature at Raindance and Nominated at the BIFA awards for best feature and finally one of his latest work &quot;Nightshooters&quot; An action movie has currently 100% on rotten tomatoes.Yasmine Alice is the founder and producer of Bastet Productions. She is originally from Istanbul, Turkey and is a mixed race Middleeastern. She moved to Brighton, UK in 2008 to attend law school. She graduated from the University of Sussex with a LLB Law with German degree along with a year abroad studying German Law at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonnand completed her Legal Practise Course at the University of Law Bloomsbury. She qualified as a lawyer in the UK and worked as an immigration lawyer for 4 years. She was scouted online for a TV series in the year 2015 and she decided to quit her job as a lawyer and started working as a news correspondent and assistant producer for TV8 in London. Over the years she has produced, written, and starred in numerous documentaries for this network. She founded Bastet Productions in 2020 following the success of her very first narrative short, Anxious. Within 2 years, Yasmine has produced, some of which she has written, and sourced funding for 9 short films. She is a Bafta and BIFA-qualified producer who is developing her first 2 feature films, Sugar Bill and the Truckman, which have gained the attention of a few executives. Sugar Bill is currently halfway funded. She will be attending Cannes Film Festival this year and is available for pitch meetings there.V﻿ictor Rios, is an actor, producer and filmmaker, Victor has began his journey on the National Youth Film Academy, where he began producing his own work due to a lack of opportunities for himself in front of the screen. Years later funding Filmlocos and creating films where British Latinos are in front and behind cameras, creating several shorts, including the 1st season of short films, a collection of 6 short films done in 6 days, and now a 2nd season where films have been made in different cities in the UK.Alastair Train is a London based award-winning writer/director. His darkly comic and stylish films have been shown at various festivals around the world, including Cannes, Haapsalu Horror &amp; Fantasy Festival, London Short Film Festival, and London Independent Film Festival. He&#x27;s in pre-production on his first feature, an action/horror called ‘Coming Home&#x27; and he&#x27;s working on his next short &#x27;Pearls&#x27; , a body horror. Along with that he works as the Senior Production Coordinator at the London Film Academy helping filmmakers of the future produce and shoot their work.Jordan Pitt is an actor and award winning filmmaker with over 20 years experience both in front of and behind the camera. He launched ONE UMBRELLA PRODUCTIONS in 2011, premiering his first film &#x27;LOST WORDS,&#x27; in Cannes the following year. &#x27;AMBITION TO LIVE&#x27; which screened at various festivals - London Film Network Film Festival (where it picked up an audience choice award), Portobello Road Film Festival, BUFF and was nominated for best short film at the BEFFTA&#x27;s. &#x27;What Would You Do?&#x27; which screened at the BBC and BFI before launching on Amazon Prime. It was also selected to be apart of California’s 2021 Newport Beach Film Festival. &#x27;COFFEE,&#x27; which has picked up &#x27;best international film award&#x27; at the &#x27;Wadadli Film Festival&#x27; in Antigua and picked up the Fan Favourite award at the prestigious ‘American Black Film Festival.’ In addition to that, it also won Outstanding Short Film award at the 22nd Annual Black Reel Awards.His latest film ‘HI JOHN’ has picked up various awards, including best original score and a nomination for best actor at the Diversity in Cannes short film showcase.Most recently, Jordan worked as creative director’s assistant on the 2022 Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony.
