ARE YOU LIVING, AND WORKING, WITH PURPOSE?Following a sell-out Rooster Talk earlier this year, Glove Factory Studios' member <a href="https://uk.linkedin.com/in/benveal" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ben Veal</a> from <a href="https://www.secondmountaincomms.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Second Mountain Comms</a>, returns to share his personal story about launching a business during the most unsettling of times, aiming to give back to society, carving out a niche in a very crowded market, and life lessons learnt from this journey as we all move forward into a brave new world.For Ben, as for many of us, it’s been quite the journey so far – but it’s not all been uphill. Unexpected redundancy at the height of the first lockdown sent Ben spiralling downwards. Three years since launching, Ben has built up a client base of over 20 national and international clients, won two regional CIPR Independent PR Practitioner of the Year awards, received the ‘Mark of Excellence’ at the national CIPR Excellence Awards and picked up the ’Start up of the Year’ trophy at the Creative Bath Awards. Ben is also the host of ‘Good Journeys with Second Mountain’, a podcast series that shines the spotlight on inspiring people and shares their inspired stories.Welcome drinks on arrival.
