Hexagons are a shape found in nature, in games and puzzles, and of course in maths lessons!

As well as simply tessellating, there are many other geometric wonders to discover with this familar shape. Adam Creen will be helping students investigate some of the maths behind hexagons, including fractals, ratios and sequences

Who will win the Game of Hex? And how do you program a computer to draw hexagons? Students will find our more at this extremely hands-on session.This workshop is strictly for ages 9–11 only. Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least two weeks (14 calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.
