The Beacon

There is a growing community of amazing social and community enterprises in Exeter who are achieving an impressive positive impact for people and our planet. Exeter Connect is hosting this Network to continue to bring together like-minded socially enterprising people from across Exeter.We are excited to announce we have Paul Fox, an adviser from the Money and Pensions Service will be joining us at this network event to give individual and organisational advice about all things pensions and financial resilienceThe Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) is an arm’s-length body sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions, established at the beginning of 2019.At this event we will also be discussing:<ul><li>Update on Exeter Connect events</li></ul><ul><li>Planning the SEE! Showcase event</li></ul><ul><li>Discussion around your Training Needs</li></ul><ul><li>Peer support</li></ul>You are most welcome to join in, whether you are a new director of a new CIC, or a representative of an established CIC , an enterprising charity or from another form of social/community enterprise.
