The North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership

The AHRC North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership is delighted to announce that this year’s conference, Meeting of Minds: Collaborative Research in the Arts and Humanities, will be hosted by the University of Manchester at the Barnes Wallis building on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th October 2019.
Collaboration has become an important and often necessary initiative for much of today’s leading research across the Arts and Humanities. With this in mind, our 2019 conference seeks to showcase but also to examine how collaboration can produce truly innovative research. Presenters will also tackle some of the difficulties that come with performing such research. 
We are seeking proposals for papers, panels, presentations, posters, and performances that reflect collaboration in research not only in the Arts and Humanities but also beyond, or that investigate the concept of collaboration. We welcome abstracts from all disciplines across the Arts and Humanities, and, in keeping with the theme, Interdisciplinary proposals are specifically encouraged.
The conference is free for all NWCDTP candidates and all presenters. If anyone would like to attend the conference who is not an NWCDTP candidate then conference admission will be charged at £25 per day.
Submissions open: 30th April 2019 Deadline for submissions: 7th June 2019
