Our cocktail bar, The Gin Palace, has delicious cocktails, a selection of hand-picked gins, plus beer, cider and soft drinks. We host a wide range of events, from gin tastings and comedy nights, to DJ's and charity fundraisers.

Mother Tongue Spoken Word nights provide an open and welcoming space where anybody can get up and perform, whether they are amateurs or professionals. From rap to spoken word, acoustic guitar to poetry, comedy to singing - we love it all. Sip cocktails or beer in our airy cocktail bar - which used to be an ammunitions factory - whilst you enjoy the talented spoken word artists we are bringing together for you. It’s free, but it&#x27;s looking like it’s going to sell out so you will need tickets and it will be standing room at the back.
