The School of art, architecture and designThe school is internationally recognised for its high quality teaching, excellent facilities and unique interdisciplinary opportunities. Learning through practice, playing with process and working with clients, students at the school gain real world experience in both individual and collaborative projects, engaging with professionals, communities and companies. There is a strong emphasis in our studios on socially engaged Architecture, Art and Design applied to both local and global contexts, and many projects focus on London. Our central London location also gives you easy access to the creative and cultural hub which surrounds the Aldgate Campus. Our many specialist facilities include wood and metal workshops, laboratories, TV and recording studios, editing suites, darkrooms and Metropolitan Works our digital manufacturing centre. Many of our students have exhibited at major international exhibitions and festivals and have won prestigious awards.

You&#x27;re invited to our annual summer show!Our students have been working extremely hard on their final projects of the year and we&#x27;re excited to share with them with you at this exciting event.From 21 June – 1 July students from all art, architecture and design courses will exhibit their work.There will be a private view on Tuesday, 20 June with a preview for family and friends, and prize-giving from 4pm to 6pm, followed by the private view with a pay bar from 6pm to 9pm.The exhibition areas will be Goulston Street (projects, architecture, interiors, and visual communication courses), the Wash Houses (fashion, fashion textiles, furniture and product design, and textiles), Calcutta House (upholstery), and the Annexe (fine art, fashion photography, and photography).During the show period there will be a variety of other events for you to enjoy.We&#x27;re looking forward to seeing you there!<h3>G﻿ot a question?</h3>Please email aad@londonmet.ac.uk
