Devon Inclusive Folk Ensemble (8-18yrs)

At Wren Music we’ve been building communities with music for 40 years. We run music making groups, events and special concerts giving you opportunities to get involved or listen. We use folk and traditional music to empower hundreds of people from all backgrounds to take part in music using voice or instruments.

Wren Music

A monthly group for young people with special education needs or disability.
Saturdays 1.30-2.30pm (8—18 years) and 3-5pm (16—30 years)

<ul><li>Want to try new instruments and sing songs?</li><li>Looking for a fun activity for your family to do together?</li></ul>The Devon Inclusive Folk Ensemble is a friendly and welcoming group for children and young people with additional needs and their families to make music together.  We have two age groups: 8 – 18 and 16 – 30. Everyone is welcome to join. We meet at InFocus College at Topsham Road, Countess Wear, Exeter, which is fully accessible for mobility issues and wheelchairs.  There are opportunities to perform at events for those wishing to do so – examples include our inclusive ceilidhs, where the ensemble plays alongside some of Wren Music’s other community orchestras and choirs. Led by Jenny Read and Sarah Owen, professional folk musicians and music educatorsPlease note: t﻿his ticket is for the 1.30pm group.
