The festival maintains a high standard with many European & International award-winning shorts featured in the Festival. It includes special programmes in low/no budget shorts, North West Shorts, British Shorts, European Shorts, International Panorama, Kino Exposed (student and youth shorts), and Kino Animation, giving new and emerging filmmakers the opportunity to have their work screened alongside that of critically acclaimed, established short filmmakers. Kinofilm Festival is pleased to announce the edition 71 of our KINO SHORTS NorthWest filmmakers event in Manchester, taking place 8th June.

Kinofilm Festival is pleased to announce the latest event in our KINO SHORTS NorthWest filmmakers event in Manchester. The events take place bi-monthly at our popular host Manchester venue, the Mini Cini ,based at Ducie Street Warehouse, featuring state of the art projection and reclining seats. There will be Q&amp;A&#x27;s with the filmmakers interviewed by our guest Manchester host and there will be time for networking during the mid programme break and after the event.The Q &amp; A sessions will be hosted by Jeremiah Quinn Director/Producer/Writer and Film Production lecturer at Salford University whose award winning film OLUWALE was screened at Kinofilm Festival last November. The Venue has a bar lounge with a wide range of drinks and food available if you wish to eat before the event. Latest news, the lovely management at Ducie are offering a 15% discount on food and drink on the night of our event. Just show your ticket to get the discount, either before the show, during or after. Now your chance to get some yummy food on offer pre show.
