A workshop with the High Street Task Force and Bristol City Council to take action on high street regeneration, focussing on East Street.

This February, the High Street Task Force facilitated a number of Workshops in Bedminster to ‘take stock’ of the current situation for Bedminster’s high streets and to think about the best way forwards. A Report has been produced which summarises analysis and key recommendations. To take action on these recommendations will need everyone; the Council, local community groups, local leaders, local businesses, elected members, and those that live in, work in, visit, and pass through the area. The work starts here – on Tuesday 6th June, join the High Street Task Force and Bristol City Council, hosted by Action Greater Bedminster for a workshop to explore the report’s findings and figure out practical steps for how we make them happen. Booking is essential. We will be operating a waiting list so please inform us if you have booked a ticket but are no longer able to attend. The workshop will run twice on 6th June at Windmill Hill City Farm. Please only book for one workshop:Workshop 1 - June 6th, 11am – 1pm in The John James Room at Windmill Hill City FarmWorkshop 2 - June 6th 6pm – 8pm in The Training Room at Windmill Hill City FarmThe John James room is on the ground floor and has two doors to get through in the room. There are accessible toilets just off the room. The room is brightly lit.
