The Scottish Music Therapy Trust exists to support the development of music therapy in Scotland.We do this primarily through workshops and lectures, providing continuing professional development opportunities in Scotland for music therapists, music therapy students and to the wider arts therapies.We have existed since 1990 and are Scottish charity number SCO10017.

<p>Forget me Notes is a charity that uses music to expand communication opportunities for those living with dementia and carers. We are not exclusive to those living with dementia but we are dementia friendly. </p><p>This interactive workshop will explore the emotional attachments we all have to music and show how we use this to increase the well-being of those who use Forget me Note services. Come ready to explore the use of self when interpreting the world of others.</p>
