Looking for a summer jam that will get you in the pool, improving your swimming whilst you socialise? Join THIIIRD for a day of sun, swimming, and good vibes with the inclusive swimming collective, <a href="https://www.swimdemcrew.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Swim Dem Crew</a>. We kick off our second event of the summer with a DJ in the mix spinning tunes and delicious black-owned BBQ food all at the poolside of Parliament Hill Lido. Led by <a href="https://www.swimdemcrew.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Swim Dem Crew</a>, the London-Based collective cultivating a unique swimming space with inclusivity at its heart, the event will give space for swimmers to have their sessions in a social environment. In 2 teaching sessions, it will also allow intermediate and advanced swimmers to enhance their skills and get newbies learning techniques in the pool. According to <a href="https://www.swimming.org/swimengland/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Swim England</a> only 2% of regular swimmers in England are Black so <a href="https://www.swimdemcrew.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Swim Dem Crew</a> has created sessions for people to learn how to swim in a space where everyone no matter what their level, can come enjoy and take things in at the speed that suits them. It&#x27;s the perfect way to soak up the sun and kick off the summer season. Whether you&#x27;re a seasoned swimmer or just looking to dip your toes in the water, everyone is welcome at this inclusive event but is still.QTBIPOC/BIPOC led and Allies are welcome.Low-income/ Pay what you can tickets will be available closer to the time (a limited number will be available). Teaching session times are: 1.30pm and 2.30pm. We centralise the thought, being and art of people of colour, queer, trans and non-binary people and others with underrepresented backgrounds.
